The Ancient Knights Luxury Suites building was originally built from the Knights themselves and is one of the very few buildings left with their signature. A copy of the authentication paper can be found in our reception area.
The suites are inspired and decorated from the medieval times with also a modern touch. They are also designed to offer a sense of luxury and comfort within the compact environment of the Old Town.
Ancient Knights Luxury Suites taken its name from The Knights Of Rhodes. The Knights of Rhodes are also known as the Order of St John, the Knights Hospitaller and the Knights of St John.
The Knights arrived in Rhodes on 1309 and thus began an era of development and innovation on the island. The years when Rhodes was occupied by the Order of St. John could be considered as one of the Rhodes’ most flourishing periods.
They left imposing evidence of their time on Rhodes and gave it particular color which the town still retains in its impregnable walls, its gates, the churches and the hospitals, the inns and the majestic palaces.
